I recently received the following from a fellow McMath researcher.
In August 2006 I made a trip to South Central Pennsylvania in my continuing search for information about my 4th Great Grandparents, Samuel McMath and Ella Baxter. There are theories and much conflicting information about where they were born, where they came from, who their parents were, when they came to America, etc. However, it seems that none of this data can be accurately sourced or proven.

I have documentation (wills, photos, etc.), however nothing that will knock down the brick wall. All thoughts, ideas, disagreements or other information would be most welcome. Also, I would be pleased to share any of my pictures or data with McMath researchers.

Of Springtime - And Fencing - And Love

Sun slanted, golden, through the green
of springtime's youth...
darkly dappling trees and bushes, both.

You stood in shadows of the coming night,
your shoulders bulging as the wire stretched tight,
your legs braced far to give their greatest strength,

to fears of weakness,

self-doubt,

or a general lack.
